The ESB Senior Developer is an individual contributor responsible for building and maintaining integrations for multiple on premises and/or cloud systems and must be capable of understanding business requirements, working with end users and developing and deploying integrations for all Digital and ESB applications

This position will coach and guide other developers, partners and develop relationships with contractor teams and within Information Technology (IT Architecture, IT Delivery, QA) to assist in translating business requirements into quality software code.

Responsabilidades e atribuições

  • Individual contributor across the DevOps lifecycle, according to current industry best practices, for the IT component of all ESB and Digital Integration platforms across all Liberty Latin America companies, including but not limited to:
  • Research new techniques, tools, methods, and technologies for integration delivery
  • Review and analysis of system specifications
  • Explain complex technical issues to project managers, developers, team leads and architects in an easy to understand manner, and recommend clearly thought out solutions.
  • Identify, analyze and develop interfaces and integration flows
  • Develop and implement code using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks
  • Document software code
  • Review code written by other programmers
  • Perform testing and bug fixing
  • Evaluate product code according to business requirements and specifications
  • Test code and fix bugs
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Available for work off-hours and non-working days (if required)
  • Collaborate with internal and contractor teams working on ESB Integration Deliverables
  • Collaborates with QA on the implementation of testing automation
  • Complies with SOX General IT Controls pertaining to applications and processes under scope
  • Contributes to IT roadmap and architecture definiti

  • Knowledge/exposure of/to TMForum OpenAPI framework desired
  • Proven capability within the specified discipline (DevOps and Integration Development) at a strong functional and technical level
  • Proven experience of working and engaging in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to drive improvement within his/her team
  • Open to challenges, with high capacity for ownership and autonomy
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external working partnerships at all levels through a collaborative approach and good communication
  • Demonstrate strong influencing and persuading skills, encourage colleagues and teams to change established processes and achieve improvements and best practice
  • Timeliness in all actions with quality consciousness towards services received and provided
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (preferably in Spanish and English) and ability to form strong business relationships across multiple locations
